In February 2025, Bulgaria's retail trade turnover (excluding motor vehicles and motorcycles) decreased by 1.7% from the previous month, according to data from the National Statistical Institute. However, turnover grew by 2.4% compared to February 2024, CE Report quotes BTA

Monthly Changes
Retail sales of automotive fuel, non-food products, and food & beverages saw growth in February, rising by 2.3%, 1.9%, and 1.7%, respectively.

Annual Changes
Year-on-year, automotive fuel sales increased by 11.5%, while non-food products rose by 3.7%. However, food, beverages, and tobacco sales declined by 2.1%.
