
PPC CEO Calls for US-Greece Data Center Partnership
Public Power Corporation (PPC) President and CEO Giorgos Stassis encouraged US investors to partner with Greece in developing data centers, during an event hosted by the German Marshall Fund (GMF) and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Athens on Monday, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
The event, titled "Geopolitics, Connectivity and Energy Security: An Athens Conversation," explored the evolving geopolitical landscape and its impact on transatlantic energy and climate policies. He also reaffirmed PPC's plans to establish a large-scale data center on land previously used by coal-powered plants in Western Macedonia.
