Banks' net profit down
Banks in Slovenia generated EUR 1.2 billion in pre-tax profit in 2024, up 5.5% from 2023, CE Report quotes STA.
As reported, their net profit dropped by 2.1% to EUR 1.1 billion in what was the first of five years when they are liable to a 0.2% tax on total assets based on a law governing post-August 2023 floods reconstruction, the central bank said
