Türkiye’s Treasury and Finance Ministry has signed a major agreement with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) to enhance cooperation. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed Monday, secures $5 billion in financing for public projects from 2025 to 2027, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

This is the first multi-year cooperation framework between Türkiye and AIIB, focusing on sustainable development in energy, transportation, exports, and water management. An additional $5 billion is planned for private-sector projects, expanding financial resources for businesses and infrastructure.

Türkiye’s active portfolio with international development banks now stands at $35 billion, highlighting global confidence in its economic strategy.
