Three More Greek State Airports Receive EASA Certification

Three state-owned airports in Greece—Ioannina, Syros, and Milos—have been certified by the Civil Aviation Authority based on EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) criteria. The certification, granted on January 26, ensures compliance with EU aviation safety standards, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

Earlier, on January 24, the airports of Heraklion and Alexandroupolis also received certification. The process continues, with Kythera, Chios, and Sitia set to be certified on February 14, followed by Karpathos and Lemnos before the end of the month. This initiative aims to enhance the safe and efficient operation of all state-owned airports in Greece.
