Slovenia’s budget deficit hits five-year low

The national budget deficit of Slovenia dropped by around EUR 1.5 billion to EUR 808 million in 2024, CE Report quotes STA.

This was mainly due to lower spending on emergency measures, the Fiscal Council warned after the government announced that last year's deficit dropped to a five-year low of 1.2% of GDP.
