As many as 53,018 new passenger cars were registered for the first time in Slovenia in 2024, up 8.4% from 2023, of which electric car sales plummeted by more than a quarter.

The number of newly registered light goods vehicles meanwhile increased by 11.7% to 8,582, Commerce of Trade (TZS) data shows, CE Report quotes STA.
