The American Chamber of Commerce in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AmCham BiH) hosted a ceremony in Sarajevo. The funds raised were distributed to eight associations that support society's most vulnerable groups, CE Report quotes FENA.

The event marked a significant step in AmCham BiH's ongoing commitment to fostering community support and social responsibility. Representatives from the eight beneficiary organizations attended the ceremony, where they expressed gratitude for the much-needed financial assistance.

Each association focuses on addressing critical social challenges, including aiding children with special needs, providing shelter for the homeless, supporting survivors of domestic violence, and enhancing opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Speaking at the event, AmCham BiH's president emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in building a more inclusive society. “Our mission goes beyond business. We are here to strengthen the social fabric and ensure that no one is left behind,” she said.

The funds, raised through a combination of corporate contributions and individual donations, will directly support programs designed to uplift and empower vulnerable communities. The associations plan to use the donations for initiatives such as educational workshops, healthcare access, and community-building activities.

The ceremony concluded with a message of hope and a call for continued support from businesses and individuals in addressing the needs of the most disadvantaged groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
