
Gutsanov on Ministry’s First 100 Days
Labour and Social Policy Minister Borislav Gutsanov shared the Ministry's key accomplishments during the first 100 days of the Rosen Zhelyazkov Cabinet, CE Report quotes BTA
The Ministry's top priority is ensuring no funds are lost from the Recovery and Resilience Plan, with BGN 1.3 billion allocated for social investments.
Gutsanov highlighted improvements in digital skills training, where the number of trainees has been reduced from 500,000 to 260,000 to enhance the quality of education. Adjustments to the exam were made to ensure more effective use of the training program.
Additionally, plans for renovating elderly care homes and acquiring 250 electric vehicles and charging stations for social services, such as meal deliveries, are underway. Distribution of food packages will also begin once the program is finalized.
