Vazrazhdane Files No Confidence Motion Against Zhelyazkov

Bulgaria

Vazrazhdane has tabled a motion of no confidence in the government of Rosen Zhelyazkov, accusing it of "systematic failure in foreign policy." The party claims the government prioritizes Brussels' confrontational agenda over Bulgaria’s national interests, disregarding public desires for peace and neutrality, CE Report quotes BTA

Vazrazhdane asserts that Bulgaria has been involuntarily dragged into geopolitical conflicts, with sanctions against Russia harming the economy and funds diverted from essential services to military aid. The party also criticized the government’s response to the death of Bulgarian UN official Captain Marinov in Gaza.

Vazrazhdane demands the government's resignation and a shift towards foreign policies focused on national sovereignty and the well-being of Bulgarians. The motion is available for signing at the National Assembly.
