2025 State Budget Bill to Be Tabled in Parliament Within Ten Days

Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Zafirov announced on Monday that the 2025 State Budget Bill will be presented to Parliament within ten days. He highlighted two main challenges: pension indexation and funding for municipal investment programs, emphasizing that active work is underway to address them, CE Report quotes BTA

The topic will be discussed at Tuesday's Joint Governance Council meeting, where solutions will be explored. Zafirov reaffirmed that the budget will uphold social rights, maintain tax levels, and honor promised salary increases for various employee groups.

The Deputy Prime Minister made the remarks during a working visit to Kyustendil.
