Parliamentary Budget Committee to Discuss 2025 Draft Budgets on January 7

The parliamentary Budget and Finance Committee will review the draft budgets for the State, State Social Security, and the National Health Insurance Fund for 2025 on January 7, according to the National Assembly's website, CE Report quotes BTA

The agenda includes proposed tax law changes and a hearing with caretaker Finance Minister Lyudmila Petkova.

The 2025 State Budget Bill, targeting a 3% deficit, was published on the Finance Ministry's website on December 9. Submitted by the caretaker government, the bill includes measures to manage revenue and expenditures to meet eurozone membership requirements.
