MPs Fail to Elect Parliament Chair, New Vote to Be Held Later on Wednesday

MPs' fourth attempt to elect Chairperson of the 51st National Assembly failed on Wednesday. Raya Nazaryan from GERB-UDF and Silvi Kirilov from There Is Such a People went to a second round of voting and received 69 and 101 votes in favour, respectively, CE Report quotes BTA

Nazaryan got 130 votes against and 38 abstentions. Kirilov garnered 54 votes against and 84 abstentions.
