Number of Women at Leadership Positions in Bulgaria Is Growing, Shows 2023 Gender Equality Report for 2023

Women at leadership positions in Bulgaria are growing in number despite, shows a report on gender equality for 2023 that the Council of Ministers approved on Tuesday. Last year, the number stood at 68,000, which is by 3,200 more than in 2022. The share of women in management boards grew to 18.3% from 14.8% a year earlier, CE Report quotes BTA

In 2022, the difference in salaries between women and men was 13% in favour of men.
