Rama: Albania aims to complete EU negotiations by 2027

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama made a statement from Brussels alongside the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa. This took place ahead of the meeting where it was announced that Albania will open the second cluster of chapters in its negotiations with the European Union, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Prime Minister Rama stated that Albania is committed to fulfilling the tasks set out in the roadmap in order to complete the negotiations by the year 2027.

The President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, said that Albania has made progress on its path toward European integration.

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama will also participate in the fourth intergovernmental conference between Albania and the EU, where the EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, will also be present.
