Albania signs major agreement with European Investment Bank

The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, announced in a Facebook post that the agreement between Albania and the European Investment Bank is an important step that will impact the country’s rapid economic development and its path toward EU integration, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Minister Hasani expressed gratitude for the continuous contribution of the European Investment Bank, which has supported Albania from the beginning.

Hasani also stated that Tirana is on the right track to becoming a major regional economic hub.

“The Host Country Agreement signed today between Albania and the European Investment Bank (EIB) is an important step that will impact the rapid economic development of Albania and its path toward EU integration! Grateful for the continuous contribution of the EIB, which has supported Albania from the beginning! Increased financing and expertise will help implement the EU’s Economic and Investment Plan, as well as the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans! Tirana is determined to grow as a regional economic hub,” wrote Hasani on social media.
